Christopher Kane moved from classic crocheted squares using this motif to create geometrical motifs in navy and black on tops and skirts or printed them on leather designs.

Fulton’s trademark skyscrapers reappeared on shirts, coats and ankle-length dresses, though this time there were some playful elements added such as lips sipping from pearly straws through the roof of the Empire State building and manicured Auntie Mame-like hands holding smoking guns.

Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos showcased their collection that looked at revolutionaries and political unrest through chain degrade prints, layered looks and bright colours, evoking violence through strong shades and slashes around the upper chest area.

After its exclusive and intimate launch show during New York Fashion Week last September, the first TOM FORD Womenswear Collection will be available in the TOM FORD Milan Flagship store from today, 23rd February, opposite the opening of Milano Moda Donna. It will then become available in TOM FORD stores worldwide beginning Spring 2011.

Usually aiming at a young audience of loyal fans, Holland looked this time at more grown up inspirations, moving from typical granny hobbies such as playing bingo, crocheting and taking care of caged birds, though adding an ironic edge to it all.
