MODALISBOA DAY 3: BACKSTAGE LIDIJA KOLOVRAT A/W 11

The Lidija Kolovrat catwalk brought us a look of contemporary nature which combined earthy tones in natural furs and silk with plastic cut-outs of leaves, sparrows and patchwork.

The collection featured a selection of contemporary shoes with undercut heels or plastic hoods folded down from the ankle while key pieces included an oriental print trench coat, a large grey fur coat adorned with coloured plastic leaves and a soft black poncho with patchwork squares and black fur protruding from beneath the hem.

The show was edgy and artistic; models painted patterns across the columns of the upper MUDE museum while a thin veil of smoke rolled down the catwalk as they made their entrance, creating a vibe of raw wilderness.
