BALENCIAGA EYEWEAR S/S 11

The Balenciaga Spring/Summer eyewear collection is sophisticated and contemporary with an emphasis on modern and unusual technical materials. The new sunglasses show a contemporary form combined with luxurious vintage details whilst the optical frames collection presents bold designs with innovative stylistic solutions.

BAL 0102/s

The model BAL 0102/s show a sculptured style with a sinuous shape produced in metal and acetate. Oversized frames are redesigned in a modern way with sophisticated design details such as the cut-out sections on the arm and temples. The model comes in a variety of brown shades, from pearly mocha tones to dark brown and black.

BAL 0097/s

The BAL 0097/s is an injection moulded model made of acetate with flexible steel temples coated in rubber for a unique material sensation. The colours available include luxurious tones of deep pink, blue, black and dark brown.

BAL 0087

The optical frame model BAL 0087 is a contrast between 50’s style and modern design. The rubber structure surrounds a steel core and the arms of the frame are detailed with the classic Balenciaga logo on an inset engraved plaque. Uniquely moulded patterns adapt the arms of the frame and add a graphic touch which contrasts the classic pearled tones, including a variety of brown or pink shades.

BAL 0086

The model BAL 0086 reworks a vintage cat-eye frame showing a perfect balance of materials between the austere acetate front piece and the rubber-coated arms. Modern details such as the screws at the temples and the logo plaque on the arms transforms this classic style into an innovative design form with carefully chosen colours including brown with prune, light brown with caramel and dark pink with prune.

BAL 0103/s

The BAL 0103/2 “Edition” model is reworked from the Balenciaga archives and reflects the perpetual spirit of innovation from the brand. The acetate frames have a smooth and rounded shape with a sinuous profile and transparent effect formed by its clear crystal and pearled tones.
