'GENERATION H' BY ROUND SQUARE COLLECTIVE & SALAO COBOI, PORTO
Inspired by Autumn/Winter 2011 collections of many designers and brands, “Generation H” is the result of an insult swap between Portuguese label Round Square Collective and the artistic group, Salão Coboi. Together they aim to present a portrait of a generation that finds their own personality from intense research and immediate absorption of any trend found in different sub-cultures.
The exhibition, taking place at the Dama Aflita Gallery in Porto, Portugal, showcases a limited edition collection of 4 sculpted fashion looks, created by RSQ and then artistically interpreted by Salão Coboi. The looks, two masculine and two feminine, are crafted in porcelain, approximatively 25cm high, produced in the colours of the original clothing form which they were inspired.
Generation H will run at Dama Aflita until December 3rd 2011:
