Luís Borges closed the third day of ModaLisboa with a runway show and performance of his brand Call Me Gorgeous. Wearing full-black looks, the all-black cast walked the runway displaying the brand’s lustrous jewelry pieces.
Founded in 2021 by Portuguese and acclaimed model Luis Borges, “Call Me Gorgeous” is a Portuguese brand of handmade accessories that celebrates diversity and individuality in all its shapes, colors and definitions. Titled “Beginning”, the collection consisted of mostly silver pieces with a lot of shine and Swarovski crystals that popped on the dark skin of the models.
Long earrings framed models’ faces with big stones and the brand’s signature “B” that stands for Borges, followed by oversized rings and elaborate chokers. Dancers took over the runway wearing pieces from the collection as they performed and entertained the celebrity-filled audience that had also featured Call Me Gorgeous’s accessories in their looks.
As the show came to an end, Luis Borges joined the models on the runway in celebration, wearing a full metallic silver look and the brand’s cross-shaped earrings. Cheered by everyone in the room, Luis’ runway show closed the third day of the event with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, leaving us as wanting to feel gorgeous as well.
