Closing the third day of ModaLisboa CORE, Gonçalo Peixoto presented his FW23 collection showcasing once again his vision of the contemporary woman with a mix of attitude and sensuality. In contrast to the pastel-colored blooming vision of Spring in his SS23 collection, this time dark colors took the runway with pops of hot pink and lilac.
His signature semi-sheer looks got versions in black floral lace and with black polka dots all over. Big and cropped puffer jackets brought warmth to the collection, paired with loose-fit trousers and miniskirts in monochrome. While rhinestone straps ornamented skirts and dresses, full sequin looks were reiterated in dark and light blue.
Known for fitted silhouettes and bold statement pieces, this collection was the eye-catching spectacle of looks we have come to expect from Peixoto. With velvet pieces in black, burgundy and pink, each look was a statement on its own. Striking embellishments in different materials helped further elevate looks. Oversized bows adorned miniskirts and also featured as large clutch bags, while draped elements marked the runway in different ways, even receiving a version in feathers.
Watching from the rows along the catwalk was Peixoto’s celebrity-field guest list that rocked pieces from his last collection, eager to see what they will be wearing next.
