LFW DAY 1: AMINAKA WILMONT A/W 2011

In their collections design duo Aminaka Wilmont always showed an interest in the idea of shape and silhouette. For the Autumn/Winter 2011 season the duo emphasised draped motifs on fluid dresses in fine wool and silk with abstract prints and asymmetrical edges. Their flowing designs, matched at times with soft fur and feather capes, contrasted with the leather outerwear, in particular with the jackets characterised by avant-garde tailored motifs.
