MISSONI FOR CHUCK TAYLOR CONVERSE ALL STAR
Continuing on the success of their 2010 collaboration, Converse and Missoni are now launching two new models for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Using the dyed fabrics of Missoni on the classic ‘Chuck Taylor’ model of Converse All Star shoe, this collection features multicoloured horizontal stripes, originally created for EUA military in the 1960’s, and uses vibrant colours that represent the freshness, positivity and energy of Summer…
The feminine version comes in a combination of aqua green, purple and black, while the unisex version presents varying tones of green, yellow, red and blue. Each piece of dyed fabric is unique which makes every pair of shoes different even though they are all produced to the highest quality and each feature the classic monochromatic leather logo patch of Chuck Taylor All Star.
As part of the Converse First String program which celebrates the ingenuity, authenticity and pure expression of the brand, these new edition All Stars are only available for sale in limited quantity from March 2011 at Missoni stores in New York and Beverly Hills, Rag Aloha in New York, Tela in Malibu and Jeffrey’s in New York and Atlanta. In Spain, they will also introduce two new Limited Edition styles in Barcelona.
