LOUIS VUITTON ‘SWEET AS HONEY’ DISPLAY, LISBON
  | Apr 05, 2011

This Spring 2011, the Parisian label Louis Vuitton celebrates its first batch of honey from three bee hives that they installed on the roof of their headquarters at Pont Neuf in Paris, and the brand has decided to share this experience with its customers through new creative shop window displays entitled “As Sweet as Honey”.

The bee hives were installed back in April 2009 with the aim to support sustainable development and the preservation of biodiversity; almost 35% of world food resources are reliant on insects for the spreading of nectar and pollen between plants. During 2010, over 200,000 bees collected 75kg of nectar, which was used to produce golden honey destined for the friends and family of Luis Vuitton workers.

The new displays are featuring in an exclusive selection of Louis Vuitton stores across the world until the end of May, including our very own local Louis Vuitton in Lisbon:

At first, I thought it was another unnecessary, over-the-top window display but as soon as I saw the details on that explosion-like ornament, I finally appreciated the concept. The gold bees and flowers surprisingly went well with the backdrop. It was also genius to add those ‘oozing honey’ effects on the bag stands!

I noticed the elegant beauty of those bags inspired by honey bees.
I like the red bag over the black.

The reality is that cellulite is not a thing or condition that you can treat with beauty creams or medication. It’s the name some genius came up with one day to describe that dimpled appearance on the back of your thighs.
