WRONG WEATHER ARRIVALS FOR S/S 11, PORTO

Contemporary men’s fashion and lifestyle store Wrong Weather from Porto is growing, widely recognised for its successful art and photography Gallery, award-winning décor and specialist clothing lines, both Portuguese and International.

For Spring Summer 2011 Wrong Weather will be stocking the following specialist menswear brands:

DRIES VAN NOTEN

Van Noten was born into the fashion industry; as the son and grandson of tailors he followed his father to events in Paris and Milan from a young age, learning enviable amounts along the way. The Dries Van Noten brand is now known worldwide for its classic yet avant-garde style, described as thoughtful and poetic, it projects an amplitude of carried emotion through its designs.

OFFICINE CREATIVE

This contemporary footwear brand maintains an elegant style and antique charm utilising organic materials combined with modern productioin techniques to provide high quality, unique designs.

STEPHAN SCHNEIDER

German designer, Stephan Schneider has been working in fashion since 1994 creating carefully designed and handcut pieces that exude an individual sense of style with a unique relaxed yet sophisticated look.

BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB

The brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream combine hip hop street style with high fashion formed back in 2005 when rap artist Pharrel Williams joined forces wqith Nigo, head of urbnan clothing line Bathing Ape. Wrong Weather is an exclusive representative of BBC/IC in Portugal.

BLAAK

Named after its black colour inspirations, Blaak was founded in 1988 and has presented it’s collections in Paris since 2004. Designs are dominated by leather and mesh material combinations, maintaining a contemporary, dark feel to the designs.

OPENING CEREMONY

Manhattan-based brand Opening Ceremony combine the works of emerging designers in the fashion world with that of established designers to provide collaborations between well known and fresh talent, creating unique and varied collections with a global perspective.

CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN

Young British designer, Christopher Raeburn, is well known for his original, ethical design work. Using discarded military fabrics, his clothing is unique, functional and meticulously produced.

NIKE

Wrong Weather is an exclusive representative of Nike Premium in Portugal and stocks a selection of high quality footwear from this line of the Nike Sportswear brand which creates alternative designs on a unique colour palette to provide a more individual style to that of the usual collections.

APC

The brand A.P.C. was created in 1987 by Jean Touitou and is known for its quality fabrics and simple tailoring methods. The brand image hovers between the glamorous and the basic, providing adaptable clothing suitable for any situation.

ANTHONY PETO

Paris-based English designer Anthony Peto is renowned for his classic menswear hats with contemporary detailing using unique colour schemes and modern design techniques. All Peto hats are handmade in the atelier of his showroom in Paris.

COMMES DES GARÇON SHIRT

The Shirt line of the famous Japanese label, Commes des Garçon by Rei Kawakubo, is known for its bold forms, contemporary style and patchwork details on t-shirts, blazers jackets and underwear. Along with designs this collection, Wrong Weather also stocks CdG accessories.

DANIEL DINIS

This young emerging Portuguese designer has worked on multiple design platforms; from theatre, dance advertisement and fashion editorials, and has dedicated an exclusive collection to Wrong Weather to be sold online through their e-shop.

ONE T-SHIRT

One T-shirt is not only a clothing label but also a large scale design project. One of the most basic items of clothing imaginable, the t-shirt, is used as a canvas for unique design work with an abundance of references, from 50s pin-up girls to Hollywood glamour and the neo-futurism of the 80s.

ORLEBAR BROWN

Created in 2007 by the photographer Adam Brown, Orlebar Brown is a UK design brand renowned for its unique shorts and polos which are all produced to the highest standard, with strict attention to detail providing a multifaceted collection with an aim to bring much needed quality design pieces to beaches across the world.

RICARDO DOURADO

As a regular designer presenting at ModaLisboa each year, this Portuguese designer has been gaining success on an International scale, featuring at Blickfang in Vienna, Bread & Butter in Barcelona and SIMM in Madrid. His first mini-collection will be exclusively available in Wrong Weather, Porto.

ARMANDO CABRAL

As one of the most requested male models worldwide, Portuguese Armando Cabral went on to develop his own footwear line in collaboration with legendary Italian designer, Rucky Zambrano, reflecting Cabral’s timeless and universally praised style.

CHRIS & TIBOR

London-based accessory brand, Chris & Tibor, takes its inspiration from the city of London, mixing history, style and modernity to create luxury pieces which are then named after, and so dedicated to, a particular road, zone or iconic figure from this famous City.

PORTER

Porter, amongst the most famous Japanese brands across the world, produces modern bags and accessories with a smart design concept, evident attention to detail and high quality materials. Wrong Weather has proudly become one of the first outlets to house these infamous Porter products outside of Japan.
