After the success of previous H&M designer collections, for example with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Commes des Garcons, Jimmy Choo and the most recent Lanvin collection which sold out in a matter of minutes, H&M have now announced that for Autumn 2011 they will be working with one of the world’s most legendary fashion brands, Versace.
“This is such a celebratory collaboration and it is perfect for the party season” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.
Donatella Versace, who since 1997 has continued the work of the wonderful Gianni Versace as Creative Director of the brand, assures fans that there will of course be prints, leather and studs this season on a variety of iconic and classic Versace pieces with a strong focus on bold dresses, high heels and costume jewellery for womenswear and sharp tailoring with tuxedos, belts and jewellery for men too. This designer collection for H&M will also include for the first time some homeware items, including cushions and a bedspread.
The collection will be available from 17 November 2011 in around 300 H&M stores worldwide, as well as being sold online, so be sure to move fast if you want to get your hands on some of these iconic designer pieces and add some Versace glamour to both your wardrobe and the bedroom!
