Recently shown on 2nd March in Le Marais, Paris, the new Prêt à Porter collection by Portuguese designer Luis Buchinho sees a reinterpretation of nautical themes with a casual yet sophisticated style inspired by naval uniforms and fisherman”s clothing.
The short collection had no lack of variation or detail with strong use of wool flannel and crepe, along with lace, leather, fur, zips and different knit sizes in mohair and silk blends. The colour palette was simple yet rich presenting white, black gold, royal blue, red and Bordeaux combinations.
