BJORN BORG AND JOHN MCENROE LAUNCH LIMITED EDITION UNDERWEAR COLLECTION
Two sporting heroes, tennis players Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe, have joined forces to launch 4 limited edition ‘Bjorn Loves John’ boxer briefs for Autumn 2011.
Two of the pieces are designed by Borg while the other two are designed by McEnroe, both based on the original tennis clothing of the “golden age of tennis” in the 1980s, the era of the legendary Wimbledon final between these two sporting friends and competitors.
4% of all funds will go to charity whilst part of the funds raised will also be donated to the John and Patty McEnroe Foundation which in turn supports the following organisations: Beyond Nuclear, Laureus USA, J/P Haitian Relief Organization and Riverkeeper.
The Bjorn Loves John collection will be on sale from August across Europe, Canada and USA, as well as online at Bjorn Borg’s underwear webstore www.bjornborg.com. 100 pieces of the collection will also be signed by the two players and distributed randomly to be sold in Bjorn Borg stores across the world.
