Embarking on a creative voyage together, Antonia Rosa, ZOOT’s beauty editor, and the photographer Henrique Seruca based between Madeira and Lisbon, curated a beauty editorial that breaks the mold and captures the spirit of enthusiastic experimentation. As Henrique explained, “For this shooting my motivation is the experimentation–having fun and seeing how it goes.”

Infused with lively colors and playful accents created with the ROWE Beauty x Antonia Rosa Rainbow and Summer palettes, the makeup adds a dynamic touch. The metallic elements carefully selected by stylist Vladimir Frol complemented the makeup’s vibrant hues, creating a striking contrast with the black and silver tones of the clothes.

A remarkable highlight lies in the editorial’s composition, wherein the assembled photographs unite to form a grand poster. This mosaic-like assembly reflects the creativity at play in this shoot.

The environment itself becomes a canvas for creative exploration in Antonia’s studio, where design, makeup and photography converge to create an artistic symphony. This synergy exudes the authenticity of its collaborators.

Henrique’s lens, attuned to capturing Rita´s beauty immersed in delicate nuances, transforms every spark of emotion and flicker of excitement into a visual narrative in which the whole spins a new tale, different from the sum of its parts.

For this shooting my motivation is the experimentation.
Having fun and seeing how it goes. … It is an experimentation during the shooting, and after the shooting.

— Henrique Seruca

I’m passionate about photography, but in general in my work, the most important thing is to have fun. The other important thing is the team work! All the team creates the magic, not only the photographer.

Makeup on face and fingers using ROWE BEAUTY x ANTONIA ROSA – Rainbow and Summer palettes.

For the colors that I applied to Rita’s face, they were created with the Rainbow palettes and Summer palettes made in partnership with Rowe Beauty x Antonia Rosa, designed with environmental impacts in mind and colors activated with water. I mixed the colors with a transparent gloss to get more light on the face’s volumes and metallicize the color.

The makeup created in this editorial by Antonia and her team used the ROWE x Antonia Rosa Rainbow and Summer palettes, a collaboration between Rowe Beauty and Antonia Rosa. These are water-activated, biodegradable and non-toxic paints and glitters designed with festivals and outdoor parties in mind.
