UNTIL APRIL 15th: CHANEL EPHEMERAL BOUTIQUE IN COURCHEVEL, FRANCE

On December 18th, CHANEL opened  a pop up “ephemeral”, boutique in Courchevel, France.

With this boutique Chanel is adding even more luxury to the French Ski Resort Courchevel. The intimate yet elegant  pop-up store right next to the ski slopes is covering 85m2 and looks like a little romantic Christmas House  The use of wood and industrial materials creates an unexpected, minimalist space.

The CHANEL 2010-2011 Fall-Winter Ready-to-Wear collection  is on view with its fantasy fur coats, chainmail and ethnic-patterned patchworks, mohair and angora lurex evening dresses, the extreme cold has inspired this great collection. The bags have crackled effects and the long necklaces seem to be made up of ice cubes and crystallized beads of snow.

Also offering a taste of the springtime to come, the Cruise collection is on display, too with its fine cottons, light muslins and openwork lace leathers as well as a a selection of “PREMIERE” and “J12” watches.
