03H30 – 04H30: The Gaslamp Killer

Like the Kings who chose great painters to paint their portraits, the infamous Flying Lotus chose LA-based DJ, Gaslamp Killer to record the mix “A Decade of Flying Locus”, a sort of audio portrait dedicated to the owner of his record label, Brainfeeder. Gaslamp brings intense mixes which journey through hip hop and psychedelia combined with a clear rock attitude to bring an incredible energy to live sets.

Junior Boys is made up of Canadian duo Jeremy Greenspan and Matthew Didemus. In the last decade they have built a solid reputation through their relentless performance schedule at festivals as well as the success of albums such as ‘Last Exit’ or ‘So This is Goodbye’ that only confirmed their position as great artists of electro-pop. Now the Junior Boys prepare for the release of their new alubum ‘It’s All True’ in Portugal and will be celebrating this at Neopop 2011 proving the sophistication that indie-lectro can bring to the world stage today. 04H30 – 06H00: Modeselektor

Many consider Berlin to be the epicentre of modern electro and Modeselektor’s Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary perfectly represent the spirit of this global capital. Combining electro, hip hop, techno and whatever else is necessary, Modeselektor produce a profoundly original sound that can be truly electrifying live. Last year saw their musical services requested by Trentmoller and Roots Manuva, providing tracks which are highly anticipated to be sampled within the Modeselektor set.

06H00 – 08H00: Dj Koze

DJ Koze’s connection to labels such as Get Physical or Kompakt should be sufficient proof of his high calibre, on top of the fact that his work appears on almost every mixtape around. DJ Koze has an eclectic sound that reflects his impressive musical curriculum which began back with one of the most reputable German names in hip hop, Fishmob, and saw a journey through more experimental lands with a strong focus on breakbeat movements.
